Day 01 / Mahabalipuram
On arrival at Chennai you will be received by our representative and will be transferred to Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram (Mammalapuram) is famous for it’s shore temples and other monuments which are in a form of epic recreated on stone.

Day 02 / Mahabalipuram
Morning explore the place on your own. Remaining day at leisure.

Day 03 / Pondicherry
Drive and reach Pondicherry - famous for its beautiful boulevards, gothic structures and quiet beaches. Later head out for boat trips to see dolphins. Also visit Auroville (city of dawn) - the famous center for spiritual learning and meditation named after Guru Sri Aurobindo Ghosh.

Day 04 / Madurai
In the morning drive to Madurai. On arrival visit the Thirumal Nayaka Palace and the Dravidian masterpiece Meenakshi Sundereshwar temple which makes the city of Madurai so famous.

Day 05 / Periyar
Drive through forested mountains and rubber plantations and finally reach Periyar National Park - one of the best jungles in India to see wild elephants. Day free to explore on own.

Day 06 / Periyar
Visit the National Park on boat over Periyar lake.

Day 07 / Kumarakom
Sail through the backwaters and reach Kumarakom - an island with extremely serene atmosphere and a beautiful bird-sanctuary.

Day 08: Houseboat
A leisurely start of the day in a paradise known as Kumarakom. By noon check-out and board a Kettuvallom – your virtual home till next morning. Kettuvallom is a traditional rice boat converted into a mini hotel on sails.

Day 09 / Kochi
Morning you will be picked up and will be transferred to Kochi - the commercial hub of Kerala. Suggested sightseeing at Fort Kochi.

Day 10 / Departure
At appropriate time check out and departure for onward journey.
